Howdy Folks,
Welcome to "The Promised Land". We closed on the first 5 acres of land for our Dude Ranch the last week of
June 2009. Since that time, we have accumulated a horse, two calves, two pigs, three pigmy goats, one nubian
goat, a rabbit, five hens and a rooster named "Rosco". Please pray that God will continue to fulfill the vision of
this ministry.
We envisioned a place close to our church where we could go on Sunday afternoon and just relax and minister
to the community. There is a year round spring that runs through the property, a place to eat some grub and
play with the animals, and maybe even do a wedding or two. We also have plans for a Christian Rest Stop.
There are cars that come by every day to Philadelphia's Cheese Factory, and they need a place to stretch their
legs, use a picnic table, or just walk around and pet the animals.
We need your help to make this happen. Check out the pictures below and come back often as we will
constantly be updating the site. We are just now getting this vision off the ground, but you are welcome to stop
by anytime. We are located at 673 McCrary Street in Philadelphia, Tn. If you are traveling I-75 South, get off exit
#68 (Philadelphia Exit) and turn left. Go approximately 1 mile and we are on the right.
